★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pastries are expensive. First purchase from the store because there’s no queue today. I wanted to try last year at gurney branch but the queue too long so I gave up. I hope it taste ok. Staffs at this outlet are friendly.

They don’t follow customer special request and the staff mentioned they’re from two different management so the procedure is different? What the hack? I thought the outlets are franchise and should have the same SOP. Really unacceptable. The management should look into proper training of customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Due to MCO, I hardly go out and so recently when I have the chance to visit Queensbay Mall, I was surprised to see this new outlet called Chateraise, Pattiserrie from Japan.
Ordered and tried their top 3 best selling item and boy, it is really good. Best to enjoy cold and you will feel like it is something like eating ice cream but actually you are eating cream puff. Love the smooth texture and everything feels either smooth or soft.
Price is quite on the high side. For about rm5 a piece, I don't think it is cheap but definitely worth trying and checking it out. It is definitely a class or a level above the normal cream puff or cream cake you would have bought from a local shop.

1) overall - located at one of the entrance to Queensbay mall, strategic location, all goods are imported from Japan, decent price, must buy Châteraisé cream puffs
2) cream puff - comes with 3 flavours (chocolate, matcha and custard), personally liked the custard the best then matcha, fresh cream with the mixture of custard, icy cold cream with a soft outer skin, like you are eating cloud, must have/buy
3) cream roll - can skip
4) Taiyaki - average, soft skin with red bean paste inner
5) matcha mille crepe - tasted okay, not as fresh, a little disappointment
6) seasonal peach cake - normal cake base and fruits are not as fresh
7) butter cake - nothing special

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried few type of cakes and cream puff. Overall ok, price is on high side. I don't like their citrus cake, cost RM18.50 per pieces, the cream in the middle of the cake taste bitter.
