★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the char kway teow with egg and vegetables. Was nice but make sure to ask for extra chilli if you prefer it spicy. I did request spicy but it wasn't spicy enough for me that I had to add pepper to it. Reasonably priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wan tan mee is good. Service very fast. The fried kway teow is good also. Heard week end here always long Q. Don't brother to try the satay, cheap but nothing special. Apam is devious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wan Tan Mee here is still my all time fave! Moved from the front of Regent Furniture to corner of Lebuh Chulia and Lebuh Carnavon (really didn't know Carnavon was that looong)
Curry mee (also moved) is still good. One of the best!
Five stars in terms of food and street ambience. Where 'cha expect to get good hawker food from? A hotel? ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Variety of food. Curry mee had delicious broth mixed together with the sambal. Wantan mee small portion for the rm5 price. Char kueh kar was a good snack to munch while people watching. Got the apoms as well - 60sen/pc. Seatings are on the streetside. Come at 6pm cause less crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been coming here everytime I visit Penang since 2018, and which time I enjoyed the food very much. Now they’ve relocated to a busy street with traffic next to it. The best recommendation I would tell you is the wantan mee, it’s always good. Before MCO, it used to have very long queue, now they serve still as good quality but with much lesser waiting time. Another food I enjoy is the Lobak from the opposite street (served by a young man). Chulia St is also very lively at night, with pubs and music blasting across the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The row of street food has been moved from the main road (Chulia Street) to the side road which I think is a good idea. I am glad my favorite wanton mee is still here serving up the best bowl of Penang style wanton mee
Maybe the government should turn this side road into a pedestrian street for the safety of people dining here.
