A very horrible insurance company. They told me they are not paying for my cancer treatment. Now I am in hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical debt. However I have all the medical records and proof I need from many different medical doctors that I really need this care. All of it shows how medically necessary this treatment would be. However Cigna still doesn’t want to pay or cover. They said my cancer care isn’t medically necessary including my chemotherapy. Cigna also said I don’t even have cancer even though all my blood tests and CAT scans prove differently. (Obviously just an excuse by Cigna to avoid paying costly medical bills which they don’t want to cover) All my doctors plus my lawyer disagrees with this. We are all appealing and taking Cigna to court. Do not ever trust this greedy insurance company. Because all they care about is saving money by not paying on valid medically necessary claims. That is how they earn all their billions of dollars of profit each year. Cigna cares only about their own bottom line but not the member’s health. You should never sign up with this insurer. Because if you do they will probably try to cheat you out of your rightfully entitled medical benefits. Just like they have done with me. Choose any other health insurance company beside Cigna who will truly care about your health and wellness. Obviously Cigna doesn’t care. Because if they did then they wouldn’t tell cancer patients that their lives basically don’t matter. That’s the message Cigna sends to everyone loud and clear. This is the worst insurance company you could ever choose for your own health. Don’t say you were not forewarned….

The reimbursement process is ok, I guess its automated and when you submit it, it goes pretty fast. But, I've changed bank details and bank returned the payment because they do not convert from other currencies and OMG. Its been already 2 months that I'm waiting for the reimbursement. I've emailed them multiple times, first they say one thing, then another, then suggest to do the transfer to my old account. I have no idea when it will be done and if ever will. Horrible service for the money they claim.
