Not bad. Taste is okay and price is reasonable. We ordered the mutton briyani, mutton varuval briyani and deep fried sotong. They are quite generous with their serving. It may not seem that way when u look at it, but there’s actually quite a lot of briyani rice and mutton inside that small pot.

Clean and Quality local indian food. located across the street from the main entrance of starling mall, you can conveniently park in starling for a few ringgit only (avoid double parking). There are too many tasty dishes here, it is hard to point out which one i like most. Fish head curry ( call to reserve ), chicken tikka masala, naan, masala crab are amongst my favourite.

Located right at the opposite of a very large modern-looking shopping mall, I came here for a quick lunch en route; there's a surprisingly lot of Chinese crowds and even a group of westerners that sounds Australian/Britain to me (believe or not, I only saw one table consisting of Indians only). I didn't have much time to try their banana leaf set so I went to have some mixed rice instead, and it's pretty good! (and safe for me as a fellow seafood allergies sufferer, but do note that they still sell seafoods in their menu) While waiting for palak paneer they came out with a bowl of dessert that I don't recognize and they seem to be giving out for free. As far as I can taste it has hint of ginger and something sour, with lots of small chunks of something and nuts. It's pretty good! I had to take away the palak paneer as I'm in a rush, I'll edit this review when I'm back home. Overall good experience, will come back and try more of their dishes in the menu. (Definitely halal, have you ever seen a local Indian restaurant that's not halal?) (Turns out quite a few tables in there are in fact a big, extended Chinese-Indian-Western family eating together, and they are most likely the reason why the dishes take so slow to come out, but still a good place to eat out regardless) EDIT: The palak paneer still tastes pretty good after being left alone, cold, for a few hours. The spinach base is full of garlic flavour and delicious, but the paneer surprised me; I didn't quite expect the cheese to have a tofu-like texture and subtle milky flavour, this is my first time eating it though and it's not bad!

One of the better places for banana leaf rice in Damansara Uptown! A little fusion - more subtle curries I thought, perhaps due to the influence of Chinese in some of their dishes too. Love their paneer! PS: The eggplant that comes with the banana leaf rice is very very good!

Pricey. Poor service with an attitude. Calculative. 1) From multiple times patronizing the store, the main guy running the store has always been giving an attitude. 2) One day when dining with family of 4, he delivered our order and accused us of ordering something different when clearly he had heard wrongly. Giving us more attitude he didn’t want to admit his mistake 3) Also charges RM2 for additional dhall/curry - no other shop charges that

Please be more mindful when you decide the food portion to the customers ordered via foodpanda. It was so so overpriced compared to all the photos you shared in your own fb site. Im sharing the below photo as one of the example from my recent order 13 aug 2021, that pack of fried squid costed RM 21.50 per pack. This review is not to bash or what but this seems overpriced to me.

Briyani tastes like Nasi Goreng. Such a bad taste. Hope they really improves their recipes. Banana leaves set meal is 16.90 abit overpriced, the taste is average. The waiter has no welcoming face at all. As the restaurant vibe is so boring. Tbh i felt sleepy. Thank you.
