★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 fu yue yau mak (no photo) + 1 steam Thai style lala + 1 Vietnamese sauce sotong + 1 bittergourd ribs for rm82 incl.. rice n tea for 3pax .. all dishes is flavorful and reasonable portion though I request small... I would be back for sure.. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must say I was rather overwhelmed by the service - place was full, I was very hungry, wanted to order takeaway instead. A lady staff advised me to take a seat while a table is about to vacate. She did well. The server who helped warmed my winter melon was excellent. Her male colleague who advised me to keep an eye on my folded bike was not cool when he remarked that I should keep an eye on the bike even before I was seated.
Food wise, I was rather underwhelmed. The fish slices with green onion rice combo did not have any spring onion in it. It was cooked with tofu in a brown sauce. The other dish of some gourd and namyu pork did no justice to the ingredients and was flat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passed by this restaurant on a short trip to ipoh and decided to stop by for dinner. Seating is limited probably because not many diners come in since the covid pandemic. They follow the sop well. Shop is clean and we were attended to quickly. They seem to sell prepackaged meals as well. Maybe a change in a business model but they still have dine in customers. We order a few dishes and quickly realized the food was very home like dishes. It was nice and my wife enjoyed their mapo tofu very much. For me it was good but the heat came from chilli oil if I'm not mistaken making it like some mala tasting dish instead. Price was decent and worthwhile. Overall a good experience. Won't mind coming back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered special pork ribs(highly recommended) long beans with brinjal and Portuguese styled prawns (served with mantou). All recommended by the staff. Amazing food with really quick and amazing service. Will come again next time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This simple restaurant whips out great dishes at affordable prices and good quality too. They make everything from scratch so the food don't arrive as quick but still worth the wait. Another hidden gem in Ipoh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service. The lady boss is a good PR. Food comes fast and prices are reasonable. We enjoyed the pork ribs, tau fu and 4 type of veggie. But the chicken was tough and obviously not marinated long enough. The water cress was old and chewy. Hence 4 stars. Everything else is 5 stars. Will return again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to try this restaurant out for dinner and have no regrets. Our dinner was tasty and the service was great.
We arrived around 6.10pm and the place was already quite busy however we managed to get a table straight away.
We waited about 25 minutes for our food to come out due to how busy they were.
I would highly recommend their Chicken with Ginger and spring onions.. It was soo good!
