★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taste not as good as before.. Ordered salted egg ladyfinger totally tasteless.. Hotpot Salted fish belly pork taste not strong enough.. The signature tafu with winmelon cutted in half too raw with the 'green' taste

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Restoran Oversea is an institution here in Ipoh! The food is oh so good, so outstanding that I had to post a review here! The roast pork melts in your mouth - I never knew this to be true until I ate it here. This is my second time having roast pork here, and this time was better than the first. The steamed soon hock was outstanding as always. The homemade toufu is absolutely gob-smackingly good, tender, flavorful and very satisfying. Services were impeccable. For any celebrations, or events, this is the go-to place in Ipoh and they're well-deserving of the reputation! Go try the food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dang pricey but quality is there. Char siew is very tasty. Fish also fresh and won't have fishy smelly even got cold. once in a while their food quality and taste might cacat (maybe chefs got bad day). Service is good. Staffs are friendly and attentive also even on busy day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having dinner here, Char siew sure very delicious, roast pork also not bad.others dishes taste acceptable. Just main issue is price a bit high if compare with other state chinese restaurant like penang, melaka and johor. But sure will comeback again next time.

We tried some dishes like mee xian (thick mee sua) with truffle oil and fragrant garlic chicken, it was good. Keep up with the good work, Hai Why Tian ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The foods were just alright, nothing special, not the finest but charge an arm and a leg. The dessert with almond milk somehow were great though. But the small portion doesn’t match with the prices. The yu sheng portion were so little, the taste isn’t that good anymore. Not going to buy it anymore.
