โ โ โ โ โ Avoid at all cost. This is a budget hotel, very cheap, very basic. I wouldn't rate 1star if it was not the fact that they actively deceive their customers by providing photos and information during the booking that are just a blatante lie. Booked my room through booking dot com, In the website, while selecting the room/rate, photos clearly show a room with windows, once you check in they give you a room without windows and tell you you need to pay extra for the window one (which overlooks to the balcony btw). They also mention soundproofed rooms, which is Non existent. Building is old and not well kept. Don't ruin your holidays!

โ โ โ โ โ Made the booking and paid for it last March for stay TOMORROW (May 6-7, 2019) and it was suddenly cancelled last nite (May 4, 2019)! Now I have to book elsewhere and at such last-minute situation rates are already through the roof! Your hotel management has proven itself to be outrageously irresponsible and not committed to customers! I certainly hope you will go out of business soon as your 'hospitality' is just non-existent!

We made a reservation three weeks ago online for this hotel. We arrived at Goldbrick hotel and were told that they were full and did not have a room available for us. After I complained that we had a reservation, she then changed her story and said they had an electrical problem and that is why the room was not available. They didnโt offer to help us find a new hotel, or to assist in any way. They also requested that WE cancel the reservation, I told them that would mean that we would have to pay a cancellation fee so I am not going to do that. They refused to cancel the reservation themselves. Honestly this is unacceptable behavior for a hotel. My husband and I were left with no hotel at 5pm in a foreign country, unable to walk around due to rain.

โ โ โ โ โ The entrance is very dirty but when you enter the hotel on 2nd floor, it's a different place. Very clean and homey. The staffs are nice but they were confused with additional request like arrival time (am/pm). The room is clean, air conditioned, although it is a bit small. There is no sign in the hotel. Just look for Palm Lodge Hotel sign (beside Guardian drug store). Take the small door with stair in it. Then, take the elevator to 2nd floor. That's the hotel. Because of the location is SUPERB, it is good for solo traveller.

โ โ โ โ โ Not that good experience. The room is not totally prepared for the next guest. Tv spoilt, no wardrobe we just put out clothes on the floor and if u want to hang just use the knob of door ,the toilet seat cover spoilt..the only toiletries that they will provide is the liquid soap but still need to ask ..

โ โ โ โ โ Gold brick is a great place. Use lift don't use stairs. Gold lift is on third floor, the stairs if second floor are not clean, alway prefer to travel via life.
Staff very friendly, 5star to the lady siting at counter
The room also very clean.
Rest rooms were also clean.
Ac was working properly
No windows.
I think it's a good place to stay keeping in view the price

โ โ โ โ โ the place is descent enough. got ac complimentary water. walls are clean enough space for reasonable price inside the bustling area of bukit bintang. don't book or be scammed for the lower floor abs guest house. not for a tourist place not welcoming.. not so bad but worse ive ever seen

โ โ โ โ โ We booked the hotel 3 months before for 2 night stay. 1 day before we arrived there, they tried to moved us to another hotel since the room that we booked were broken (don't know what is broken).
They tried to call Us but we aren't available since we still at Singapore. I wonder why they never tried to call us via WhatsApp.
Short story I was very disappointed for the sudden notification, not to mention we already booked some trip and must be picked up near our hotel. If they moved us to other hotel so we must rearrange our trip again. So I told them I want to cancel my booking and going to find another hotel near Goldbrick Hotel and of course with additional discount from traveloka for the inconvenience.
Suddenly the hotel make new offer, they will provide 2 rooms for us (since we book 1 room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed). We agreed with the offering.
After we check in at 19.00, I found the room wasn't cleaned yet. There's mineral bottle left over and the blanket and pillow was dirty.
I understand the this is budget hotel, but at least the room must be cleaned before we checked in, especially we came at 19.00.
I also don't know what they provide, there was soap dispenser but no soap at all. We also have to share tv remote and air conditioning remote.
