So glad that they open in PJ! Used to visit old klang road branch , worth every cents of my money. The manager & staff is friendly , the only thing dislike or hope the management can improve , we are dining ala-carte , hope they can consider free flow / refillable green tea.

Had the special beef set and was good. The curry rice was AMAAAAZING. Also fantastic service by Herman. Highly recommended. Everything better in quality compared to publika branch.

- Green tea is not refillable, and does not come with individual teabag. - Meat is not bad, but expect to cook it yourself and be prepared to get smoke in your eyes as the hood is not strong enough and blocks the light on the grill. - Sauces are just normal, and feels confusing with no clear indication of particular cuisine. - Fried chicken overcooked and feels like chewing on rubber. For the price paying, expect better service and offerings. Disappointed.

The quality of the meat is VERY GOOD!!!! All the food there is DELICIOUS!!!! The drink is also really beautiful, taste nice too, I like it soooo much(≧▽≦) The music, lightening, design there is also amazing, feels comfortable. The staff are all friendly and the serving time doesn't takes to long too✌️. A nice dining experience\(ϋ)/♩ can't wait to visit next time

Yakiniku place with an identity conflict as it relies on Korean side dishes. Meat quality is good, but at the end of the day you'll have to cook your own. It tends to be pricey especially when kimchi is a small dish and it's RM10, and green tea is charged per cup with no refills.

The first time I came here was with a friend for a catch up and after she recommended it. I’ve never been to the publika branch, but was told by my friend that this set up is better. Personally I find the place very clean and the seating arrangements were good. They have private rooms too but even the open sections were a good distance from other patrons. Selection of beef could be improved, but quite happy with what we got. Since it’s Yakiniku, of course we leaned towards the Japanese cuts, and true enough the tastes were really good! I wouldn’t say the quality is exactly like the taste in Japan, but it’s pretty close. Have to consider that the meats have been transported quite a distance, so don’t expect SUPER fresh cuts, but they’re still fresh nonetheless ? What also intrigued me were the selection of sauces and for someone loving garlic, they have a fresh batch of fried chopped garlic free flow. In total I believe they have about 8-10 types of sauces? Tried a few and so far they all met my expectation. And since I love this place so much, I ended up frequenting this place again, 2 times more in the span of a week! A pre celebratory birthday dinner and for the actual birthday dinner ? the next 2 visits I ordered more cuts, including the steak. Mind you they were all Japanese wagyu. On top of the single dishes, We took the “cheapest” steak cut on my birthday, which is about RM180 for 150g. And oh my, this was sooooooooo good! Definitely melts in your mouth! During these two visits we also tried their scallops, salmon, fried chicken and other cuts, and so far they were all delicious! The scallops were big and juicy. However the salmon could’ve been better if it weren’t frozen. But not so much of a complain in other areas. I enjoyed myself on 3 occasions and my family enjoyed on 2. Drinks were quite limited though, and could be great if they can have more selections, especially special mixes etc. They servers were fantastic on every occasion, friendly and attentive, especially Herman and Fadzil. Since uptown is quite difficult to find parking, they also provide free valet. Definitely my new found favorite yakiniku place till I can return to Japan again! And in comparison with the “other” popular Yakiniku in hartamas? This is hands down miles away better than that. Although, I wished they have special discounts for special occasions like birthdays ? perhaps something to look at for future?

Gyutaro is definitely the best Japanese barbecue I’ve ever tried! The meat are all very juicy and delicious, dipped together with the sauce shocked my taste buds as it’s so impressive ( You can mix different sauces together to create your own favorite flavor! This is definitely a bonus point!) The side dishes are also very delicious, fried chicken and curry burger is my favorite. Nice flavored meat is also a perfect couple with soft, delicious Japanese rice, I can’t stop eating throughout the entire meal! I have a delicious meal last night, and can’t wait to visit again next time!
