β β β β β Kids loved the food and 4 types of soup. Buffet style Japanese steam boat. Each table is given 4 plates meat and for dinner 2 plates of prawn. Please don't waste as you will have to pay for any wastage

β β β β β We Malaysian love shopping malls - even though we might not buy anything but we simply love the idea of shopping in a mall.. just to enjoy the air condition rather than basking under the sun out there. Therefore many restaurant thrives in a shopping mall if the place has steady stream of customers.
I'd found out about a steamboat place lately in The Starling Mall - I seldom go here despite being close to home. But this is one of the rare steamboat restaurants in a mall that serve pork. Imagine my excitement and I quickly planned a trip there. We were there on weekday and it was a non-peak hour at that time so we paid lesser than others would have paid. And it's all-you-can-eat (yes.. buffet style) steamboat.
βΎtake whatever you want from the buffet counter - greens, taufu, meatballs, sausages, mushrooms, corns, tomato, etc
βΎThey had clams and prawns too... Pretty fresh I'd say
βΎMeat-wise you will have to order through the waitress who would bring out to you by tray. I ordered a lot of their thinly sliced pork belly that required minimal time in the boiling soup. I think that I might have ordered at least 6-8 trays of the meat alone.
βΎthe chilly sauce was passable.
Overall I like this place because the ingredients were quite fresh.

β β β β β A eat all you can Japanese shabu-shabu restaurant that serve pork. Their pork slice and macha soft serve is a must try.
Friendly staffs and fast service. Be mindful of the 2 hours dining slot. Make sure you check your slot end time with the floor staff when seated.

β β β β β The sukiyaki soup was bland. The spicy soup was so so. The sushi selection should be more if you want to call this a sushi buffet. In my opinion, it's a bit overpriced. But at least they have my favourites - matcha ice cream and sesame sauce. Nothing wow but not awful.

β β β β β Staff problem. Been here many times and fortunate enough not to be in contact with this one particular female foreign staff. Probably an attitude or aptitude problem as she previously acted out of line with other customers before.
Itβs about 1.22 pm and a Monday, tables not many seated and restaurant is near empty. Our party of 3 were made to stop because the 1 female foreigner staff decided to approached us and requested that we move to a smaller table. This inconsiderate action marred an otherwise enjoyable lunch for us.
IF you do decide pray that this particular staff isnβt on duty! ?

β β β β β Found new favorite steamboat in KL. Cheap price with plenty of choices. Always busy but fast service. Many tasty options for the soup. Oh and the complimentary chicken wings are so tasty and crunchy! Recommended!
