★ ★ ★ ★ ★ disappointed with the waitress service, and it took long time to prepare ramen even though not many people in the restaurant. Ramen tasted hard , the pork not fresh at all. This s the worse Japanese restaurant i've visited in Malaysia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food crafted from above average ingredients. Dishes here are thoughtfully curated to bring forth a food of balanced flavors and textures without being too overwhelming.
Fairly priced for the quality that diners are getting, this is one of the gems in Publika that has to be sampled at least once.
Service could be improved, as the server looked a little confused at times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the Shoyu chicken ramen which had great body (for chicken broth)! You get that feeling that these chickens died heroes, that’s why the broth is so comforting.
I dined with two friends, one went with a clear broth (super light yet still flavourful) and the other chose a spicy broth (killer kick but not sizzling or peppery, expect a nice warmth).
Since we were greedy we also ordered a side of beef. Which was very well cared for, thus yummy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ COVID-19 has turned into an endemic. Congrats to Hokkaido-Syokudo Japanese Restaurant for making it through the previous 2-year MCO period. Patrons has returned, food quality remains excellent, service standard remains good. Keep up the good work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Much better ramen than other once-they-were-wonderful ramen joints around... had the Chicken Shoyu Special, good broth and ramen texture. Pork donburi decently well. Very satisfied with Straw Roasted Chicken Thigh. Flavourful without overwhelming seasoning and oooh, you can taste the roast on it! Straightforward izayaka settings, not very spacious, you'd want to just eat, guzzle down your beer and go. I'd go back to try other items in their menu on weekdays but avoid Friday crowd.
