★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and service quality has since deteriorated. Lack of manpower, more than 6 unclear tables. Sushi on par with Sushi Mentai I supposed? And the famous soba is overcooked.

I called multiple times one say grab took it but it never got delivered , another say the foods ready & they’re finding a rider then cancels my order. Weh I waited so long some more!! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food quality is definitely not as good as Senya but passable if you are just looking for a normal Japanese restaurant to satisfy your cravings. Taste wise 50/50 some of our dishes are good, some arent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop discriminates against race. Understaffed, slow service. Imagine being sat at 7 and ordered at 7.26 and 8.30pm still food not delivered. The bell on the table is only for show. Last time patronizing this outlet. Staff will just walk past you and ignore you. Worst japanese restaurant service ever. I am staying clear. I advise everyone to do the same.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think the Japanese food here is quite localised, not really authentic Japanese food. You can get some food for under RM20 (eg. Tempura Don, Oyako Don, Ramen, etc.) so I would say the price is quite reasonable and the taste is acceptable. Service is good too, they offer to refill your green tea often.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambience is lovely. The aroma is the restaurant: japanese curry! 5 star for the japanese curry chicken katsu with cheese. The chicken burst of flavours as the crispy level is just perfect and the cheese actually enhanced the taste! Not too cheesy! The chicken teriyaki don, lovely! The sushi taste is there, but contained too much rice, hence off balance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered lobster salad roll, spicy tendon, gyoza teppan, chawanmushi, lime juice and ice ocha. We got edamame, yasai tempura, green tea ice cream and chicken teriyaki for free from the stamp collection campaign. The food taste ok, but with the free dishes from the stamps collected it's pretty worth it. We only paid RM82.95 from all the food and drinks we ordered, so quite a good deal for Publika standard.
