★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place need to be refurbished everything is old and worn out. No fridge in the room. Filthy sink inside room and iron is not working. However if u plan only for short stay it is value for money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stay here for 1 night,receptionist are very helpful,we come with late check in and request for late check out (extra rm80)
Facilities ate okay,breakfast buffet also okay.. bear in mind,this is an old hotel so the furniture are very classic and old but still good

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me n family have always been there since the past 14years especially when Raya festive.
Recently was this week from 3rd to 6th May 2022.
The room we stayed are so dusty. Every morning, I got flu due to the dustmite n this place is STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED to those who have athma and allergic to dust!
The breakfast selection is getting worst.
Unlike before u will have wide selection such as nasi lemak and menu changes daily.
On the evening of 5th May, there was a wedding reception held inside the cafe.
The next morning breakfast, they served us nasi minyak with rendang which I believed came from the last night's wedding ceremony.
I just hope that the management takes hygiene seriously and not just profit since many people would still choose your hotel due to the price.
Dusty place could kill certain people. Please improve on this.
It's sad to see Hotel Seri Malaysia these days.
Might be from failed management.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let's start with the pros first.
Location-wise is excellent, can't hope for better than this. It is close to private hospital, pharmacies, groceries, restaurants, bar, hypermarket, coffee shops etc. Not too far from airport and Penang bridge to mainland as well.
Parking provided, it is in gated area in the hotel but not covered. Still acceptable since the hotel is not high rise and you'd most likely will park near to your room/unit anyway.
Room is okay-ish, basic amenities were there. Satellite tv, iron and iron board, hot shower and individual unit AC.
Housekeeping staffs also attentive.
Now the cons.
Room or the building itself is a bit run down. There was 10 minutes of heavy rain when I were there, the corridor outside of the room totally flooded. See attached picture. Same goes to the bathroom, sunken floor caused drainage hole become higher than the floor so the water will stuck there forever. Yuck!
Another huge con is the FO staff that checked me in overcharging me. The rate supposed to be MYR 99 including breakfast for 2 but he charged me MYR130 without breakfast. Only learned about thw promo when I have to extend my stay and another lady staff told me about the promo rate. She even mentioned that the promo rate already in effect when I checked in. Just lazy to beg for refund, I just let it go.
Room service menu in the room should be removed. I called twice, the first time I called the staff told me room service only available until Iftar (it was Ramadan) even though it stated operating hour until 10pm on the menu. Fair enough, it was 9pm something anyway. Tried my luck again the next day (this time before Iftar), other person picked up the phone and guess what - 'sorry sir, room service not available during ramadan'.
Lot of improvements required.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed there for 2 nights, the breakfast is dissapointing, not much option and the taste is kinda bland, the room is okay, but I found a stain at the blanket when we check in, guess that they didnt change it. Lastly, please hope or request that you didnt get high floor, they didnt have elevator. The only up for this hotel is it is located strategically with all facilities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room have seen better days. Maintenance team could have done a better job to prepare the room for customer. The room i had was not in a very good condition. Make a complaint to the front desk but no action was taken by then to rectify the problem(broken water heater, problematic front door)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Duty travel brought me to this hotel. Although it was a brief stay, i have quite a few things i want to share about it.
The check in earlier was efficiently handled and after getting the keys, it was an effort to climb the stairs especially with baggage. Imagine if you've come with a few of those.
The room had a damp musty smell until the aircon was up and running. At least the bed was clean (got a habit of pulling the covers to check). The bath, source of the smell needs a full treatment of baking soda and vinegar mix (get rid of the stains especially the toilet seat!).
The towel is another issue with me. Out of habit, i usually unfold to see if it's clean or not. Not something that i would want to use on my body (spots on a washed towel anyone?)
Location wise, the hotel is very central for me as, there's a market and a few mall near-by and the airport is also a stone throw away, so to speak.
Anyway this is my experience, you need to write based on yours to have a better pool of information that'll be of any help to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room is not very clean. Feel dusty and kind of a smell in the room.
The photos of the rooms look promising but in reality, the place looks old. The bidet does not have the tap, just the hose. The basin tap seems to be coming out from the structure. The bathing towels are hard and rough. The room given to us is on the far end and one really needs to walk a distance.
Parking is free and there is ample parking space. The hotel is near to Giant supermarket and next to the mosque. There is no lift in the hotel. One has to carry the luggage up the stairs
