★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a Aftershokz Aeropex Open ear from I-tec via online. After using for 3 months, I noticed the battery drained very fast. Even after I off it, the next round when I want to use it for a run, the battery just gone. This is my second pair of Aftershokz, The first one is Aeropex Air. I knew it should not be like this. I went to the store for services and after checking everything, (I even bring my original box there), they noticed one of the charger is not there. It was attached with power plug at home. I explain this should not affect the services cause the headphone have problem, why do they need the box, manual, charger and everything in order to look into it and services the headphone under warranty. I am not looking for a purchase return or refund. Aeropex is a good headphone and I intend to keep it, this is my second pair of the headphone. But they claim this is their policy for warranty. If I do not like please go ahead and complain, they do not really care. I was really speechless. May be now a days claiming a product warranty need the original full package back to the store. I really do not understand, perhaps I am old and outdated and the new SOP is like what they said. If I purchaser a TV, a full computer, or any large electronic product from them, does this means I need to safe keep the carton box, plastic bag for at least a year depending the warranty period in order not to void my warranty ? I do understand once a while there will be some defect from the line of production. I accept it. All you need is a warranty. But if claiming a warranty need to full box package, then I may need to rent a warehouse to safe keep all the boxes, carton box, etc. If this is their policy, I have no choice but follow or I need to look for i-tec supplier (they even asked me to look for their supplier directly, is Nove Marketing Sdn Bhd) or even USA Aftershokz for assistance. All I can say is if anyone intend to purchase any expensive electronic product, may be look for some store that is more reliable. You won't know if you need after-sales-services, if you do, then too bad, you not only having a bad luck with production batch but also a bad luck dealing with the i-tec store.
