β β β β β Nicely appointed traveller's budget hotel with some nice premium touches and good WiFi service across all floors.
Place is popular among local outstation tourists for quick weekend getaways or staycations. The close proximity of numerous major shopping malls and LRT lines makes this place very centrally located.

β β β β β Adequate facilities, convenient location.
Only downside is that the walls are pretty thin; can easily hear every single footstep and voice as people walk past.

β β β β β Do not recommend staying the night here unless you are okay with the prices.
Overall, when it comes to cleanliness, the room is quite okay, not really dirty. However, many other things like the sheets or the toilet seat are sometimes dirty. The towels especially, look quite awful and disgusting with almost all of them having brownish or yellowish stains. The bedsheets were okay but there were still some stains at the corners and other places where you dont always have a look at. It is as if they never clean them at all and just reuse them for the next customer.
When it comes to customer service, the reception is somewhat poor. Staff tends to be lazy, incompetent, and not punctual. However, the two Indians at the desk and the cleaner are quite friendly and are okay. Sometimes when calling reception, they either pick up late or do not pick up at all.
The rooms are never really fully equipped and ready. Toothbrush and toothpaste were missing, no soap in the soap dispenser, broken toilet seat, no mineral water bottles, not enough cups, no tissue rolls, broken shower head, no tv remote (happens often), broken tv, no telephone to call reception, broken lights, and many more. The rooms tend to be quite cramped. The bathroom mat is horrible and of poor quality and does not really absorb water, which causes the floors to be quite sticky and moist afterwards.
The only things that are nice, are the soft mattresses, pillows and blankets, somewhat strong wifi, hot water and Max Hotel's covenient location which is close to many restaurants, stores and cafes.

β β β β β Most rooms don't have windows. Sound proofing is not as good. Loud conversations can be heard sometimes when it gets quiet. Clealiness can be better.

β β β β β Very unpleasant stay at room 208. I couldn't sleep the whole night. I felt there's something disturbing me everytime I wanted to sleep. I switched on my prayer on my phone and put it on the side table. Few moments later my phone fell on the floor like something pushing my phone away. I booked for 2 nights and decided to checked out the next morning.
Overall the room is cleaned.

β β β β β You get what you paid for. We booked a queen bed for me, my wife and son. Room was clean. They provided extra pillow upon request. Towels, mattress and blanket was clean. Toilet was also clean. Aircond was cold and WiFi was on point. There's a TV with two or three channels. For one night stay, this is sufficient. Not a place for vacation but a comfortable room for one day. Definitely.
