quite a number of wedding going on. Friendly staff. Well, it's a happy occasion department XD. never seen civil servants to be so jovial.

โ โ โ โ โ The first time I went in the early morning 8:30 and there were about 20 people before me. Waited one hour the numbers hardly moved. Gave up. Second time I chose to go afternoon around 3pm just before they closed at 4:30, there were 23 people before me however the numbers moved faster. One hour later my no was called. Took picture and thumb reading then waited another 30min to collect my new IC. Total 1.5 hour considered fast. I noticed one thing if go near to closing hour officers tend to work faster becos they want to go home on time. So lesson learned..

โ โ โ โ โ Came early to make replacement death certificate therefore parking was easy. Waited 10+ minutes after submitting the form for them to give the new printed certificate. Better come early morning to have hassle-free service.

โ โ โ โ โ Overall great experience compared to jpn gombak and jpn kepong (for ROM)
Arrive (walk in) 11.10am took a number and got serve around 11.40am (4 or 5 couple infront)
able to get an earlier timeslot than jpn kl

jpn kl - great experience too just that the timeslot available is much later
jpn kepong - customer service is great, RELA is great, but abit slow + bilik upacara perkahwinan cannot be used (only can sign at counter) (although they have earlier timeslot compared to other jpn
jpn gombak - rela would not let u in if you submitted document in kl (he say u submit in kl go back kl, cannot come selangor) for more info, search jpn gombak and read my review ?

The parking is very narrow.
Do not cross the photocopied IC, otherwise, the officer will ask get a new copy.

โ โ โ โ โ Registration Department at PJ. Not so crowded as before Covid. Within a day we can get IC done.

โ โ โ โ โ The last round coming to this building was to obtain my IC haha haha. Too long until I couldn't recalled which Year it was. Came here to submit my Marriage Application Form.
a) Signboard and Direction - It was very clear indeed. The fact that the Marriage Administration office located at G floor, right at the main entrance, makes it very convenient and easily spotted.
b) Experience - Surprisingly pleasant. There were 6 counters, only 2 were available and operating, remaining 4 counters were unmanned and the office looks quite empty and quiet. Not many visitors as well, about 6 and all were attended to in prompt and quick manner. The administrators manning the counters were efficient and helpful in addressing all questions. End to end process from waiting time, to form submission, Q & A and completion of submission, it took me about 25mins.
c) Visitor parking - limited parking spots, and VERY challenging as the space is too narrow for back to back spots ? If you're driving SUV's + if the parking is 3/4 full, good luck. You need to drive really carefully with good skills. Alternatively, you can park at the opposite parking area, in front of HSBC bank.

โ โ โ โ โ I was here on a Friday afternoon 3p.m. during Ramadan to extract my birth certificate. There were less than 15 people ahead of my number. The staff at the Kaunter 1 (Pertanyaan) is friendly and helpful. The staff who processed my birth cert extract was friendly and helpful too. I paid RM5 for the extract and waited another 5 minutes to collect the cert. Overall, the start to end took less than 45 minutes. This was a pleasant visit to a government department.
