★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was hoping to get a table with my wife. They definitely “Pouring own rice”. Management need to look into the floor staff how to manage customers. The staff told us can’t take in and I understand people reserved it.. yet there are so many seats AND customers just left also after eating only.
The attitude and tone of voice wasn’t good. I could observe and feel the staff just doesn’t want to bother walk-in customers at all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Underwhelming experience. Taste, quality, portion, service & interior ambience is less than Sushi Zanmai/ Jiro. No reason for the premium price if there's not going to be premium experience.
Wafer ice cream, softshell crab temaki, and seafood gratan were our winners. But the peppercorns in the gratan should have been crushed (instead of whole)... and it's soupy, but somehow the staff didn't serve a spoon until we asked (we only have chopsticks).
Very stingy with sauce. No tissue/ towel given.
Service isn't great...but they don't charge 10% service tax so yknow.
Tho I made early booking for xmas, we still got seated at some stuffy corner near the back kitchen/toilet....complete turn off tbh.
Overall, only the exterior of the restaurant was pretty. Maybe the raw fish dishes would taste better, but our mom couldn't have raw fish, sad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quality of sashimi isn’t so good at this branch as compared to others. The amberjack was stiff and the salmon was kinda slimy and breaking apart. They also included scraps of squid and octopus which wasn’t fresh. They don’t offer hand towels or refill your green tea. But the waiters are very friendly and polite but they’re obviously understaffed so they’re very busy. It’s quite a shame as this used to be a popular outlet a couple of years ago. It’s actually in a good location and people enjoyed views of the nice fountain outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noone came to service when we entered, we just walked around and went up to find our reserved room. Needed to ring the bell a few times for the waiter to come. No damped towel provided? Not sure why. The toilet at the ground floor need to fix the wear and tear.
Food served at reasonable time, food is delicious, plenty of separated rooms make diners feel safer for social distancing, the room is spacious, chairs a bit worn out but very comfy. Lighting and aircon temperature is good and comfortable.
Overall good, will recommend and will come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rakuzen Oasis Square has been around since Oasis Square opened and one of the more resilient food outlets here. Rakuzen has 2 floors of dining space with private rooms located on the upper floor. The menu is extensive and they also have lunch and dinner sets. We received courteous and quick service. The food was delicious and servings large for the lunch sets. With the private dining room, certainly a good place for a Japanese meal.
