The room is spacious with 2 queen beds, very soft mattress, fluffy pillows and comfy duvets. Extra bed is no longer provided upon request but there's extra mattress for free. Can get 2 mattress for free per room, mattress was a bit hard but it's okay. Cleanliness can be improved. Service was great, check in and check out were a breeze. The shuttle van to cable car station was on time and friendly. There are plenty of restaurants/cafes within the resort itself. There's also a mini mart near the parking lot. ? There's no more breakfast buffet, car park is expensive and no waiver or discounts for hotel guests, restaurants close early so need drive to gohtong for supper or late dinner (past 9:30pm)

One of the best resorts I have been. The greenery and the food is the main attraction. They have a restaurant with a view , lotta breakfast spreads and wide variety of juices. Lunch is also very luxurious. I really enjoyed their lasagnes. Rooms are very comfortable and neat . Will visit again .

Missing the old Awana. I have always preferred booking a stay here rather than at the top of the hill for its serenity. This is the first time I booked a stay after the refurbishment. The hotel got noisier from the music constantly playing at Ayu Awana. I could even hear it from my room at 24th floor. It goes on the whole day till late at night. Front desk staff used to be more tastefully and professionally dressed, more representative of Malaysian identity. Whereas the staff now dressed more like they are working in a Thai massage parlour. The hotel is trying too hard to appear hip and trendy. Not to mention it's made into a beach club on a highland, which is rather ridiculous. Nevertheless, the room cleanliness is maintained and the staff are still as helpful, which I truly appreciate, hence the two stars. My advice is, if you want your stay to be more happening and more accessible to amenities, go book other hotels at the top of the hills. Don't complain about the how inconvenient it is to stay here.

The hotel was alright. Just had a one night stay there and wasn't in most of the time. The shower area was nice, but apparently the bathroom door isn't too soundproof so if you shower at 7am, the other room occupants will be woken by the noise. The only problem with this hotel is the location. There's nothing around. And if you don't drive, it's a bit troublesome to get up to the themepark and all.

Quite a number of spaces in the hotel are under renovation, and there's no breakfast buffet option during my stay there; 28-30 May 2022. The view is spectacular from the room's balcony and the hotel is only 5 minutes away from the Genting Premium Outlet/Sky Awana Central. If you want to go to Sky Awana Central to ride the cable car, they provide a free shuttle mini bus on an hourly basis. The staff are hospitable and accommodative. Overall I love the vibe and ambiance of the hotel itself! ❤️

The food was nice and delicious.. albeit they were a bit more expensive than you expected. They were doing renovation but that didn't disturbed us as they did it quietly. They will have nice hydroponics gardens and bird sanctuary, I suppose.

Decided to stay a night here after our trip to the GPO. Hotel is undergoing refurbishment. We were booked for a refurbished room and the overall room condition is much better now. Had a great view of Genting from our room. We also enjoyed our morning walk around the golf course area with plenty of fresh air. A couple of areas for improvement. Though our room is renovated, the air conditioner unit is not. Was very noisy, but we decided not to change room as it was a cool evening and we did not switch on the air conditioner most of the time. The new beds are comfortable but somehow it's exceptionally too high! The car park was a let down. Most hotels or resort will provide a free or norminal charge for parking. Here the charges are RM25 per day, on weekdays & RM18 on weekends. Couple with the poor condition of the car park, I suggest the resort should review the parking fees which is unreasonable. Apart from the above, we did have a good stay here. Have been here multiple times over the years.
