★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a disappointment. Came here because of the crab meat ball soup but the crab meat ball was so mediocre and the soup just tasted like the average fishball noodle soup. Also, the portion was small for the price. The other soup we ordered - 咸菜鸭汤 - was good but not stunning too. I enjoyed the fried beehoon though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very traditional Teochew restaurant. This is the type of food that is hard to find in Singapore.
Their signature dish is the crab ball soup. Ordered the large and normal sized balls, I find the former tastier (likely due to more seasoning?)
Another must try is their Assam fish. Was told is stewed for more than 8 hours. You can consume everything from scales to bones.
Check this up if you are in the area.

I think this restaurant might the one and only Teochew style crabmeat bowl stewed soup in Johor Bahru.
If we consider the ingredient is mainly crabmeat, the food price of this restaurant is actually lower than many seafood restaurants in Johor Bahru.
Worth to have a try if you never try a Teochew style crabmeat bowl stewed soup before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended by a local to try out this Teochew food place. Being a Cantonese, and used to having Cantonese food, the closest I have come across Teochew food is Teochew porridge with various side dishes.
The menu here comprises some interesting Teochew dishes never seen before like the crab shark fin soup which is actually a meatball with crab meat & possibly some synthetic shark fin at best, Assam fish that’s got that unique sourish taste yet not spicy.
The fried pork tendons is a recommended dish - nothing special just the meat being a bit more chewy, taste is good but nothing to wow about.
Can explore for those craving for something different.
