Wait until 9:56pm still have 1 small fried rice not yet served.
Seems like visit the restaurant without a good timing as it is closing.
Took long enough to serve the food.
salmon Sashimi, not fresh.
Unagi Don, taste terrible and a lot of fish bones, donβt know the Unagi already left for how many days. under expectation.
Tea finished no one helped to refill.
Suggestion: can provide us the tea pot so that we can refill the tea ourselves.
Reminder to βnewβ customer : if took the first bite of sashimi and feel not fresh, May ask for changing a new one, they provide this service. But still I think is overprice for the sashimi platter since is RM25 for like few thin pieces.
Service attitude 3/10 from manager I guess cause uniform is different, feels like he is having a bad day.

β β β β β food is going low quality,I'm the ex-staff from this company group.so disappointed. and took super long for waiting till my baby crying because she super hungry. I have look around, that's not many customers on that moments. so sad, once of my favourite Japanese food become these such of service. bless you

β β β β β Went there twice. First was during first day raya. Would be understandable during that time if they were understaffed. Food took around an hour to be served and many of the items in the order was missed out.
Went there again today 8/5/2022. Restaurant was not even full. There were only 3 tables with people but yet we only got a miserable sushi roll after one hour of waiting. The rest of the dishes were nowhere to be seen and we ended up leaving the restaurant with empty stomachs.
Avoid this place at all costs. It is simply not worth your time.

β β β β β This is a place where you have good Japanese options with not too expensive a price tag. Good for weekend outing with family. There is always a queue in line. Maintain social distancing. Thunbs up.

β β β β β I donβt know whatβs wrong with Sushi Zanmai in EkoCheras.
The service slow and the environment not comfortable at all! The light is not even bright.
I ordered chicken katsu curry and the chicken is dry and not crunchy in mouth? Overall food is 3/10, Iβm sorry but the food below my expectation.

β β β β β The food I would say is good. It isn't exactly the same quality as the other branches, but it's fine. However, I will agree with rest of the reviews in that the service is poor. They might be understaffed.

β β β β β Maximum 55 customers at one time. Tables are socially-distanced. The thing I don't like is that the staff don't prioritize getting the customers into the restaurant. Food quality is standard, seafood is pretty fresh. Loved the tofu-seaweed salad with Sushi Zanmai dressing, and the grilled beef with enoki. Unfortunately for me, they sent the wrong roll to my table, and I ended up paying for it. The online ordering system seems a little buggy too.

β β β β β Always been a fan of Sushi Zanmai but Iβm unsure now after visiting this outlet.
Waiting time for food is really, really long. Ordered only 5 sushi dishes but we waited for more than an hour, and look what we were served (pictures). Horrified.
Our Stamina Roll still didnβt come after an hour, checked with the staff, and we were told they were going to prepare them now and we had to wait for another 10 minutes. We disappointedly requested to cancel the order as I donβt think itβs nice to keep your customers waiting for so long when your restaurant is not even full.
Think twice before coming here.
