โ โ โ โ โ This a rare germ among Yakiniku restaurant. From the sauces, kimchi and those on the menu were created by the talented chef Shelvin.
First of all, I'm not a beef fan but not until Chef Shelvin intro me wagyu and he prep the dish for me instead. Every piece give you a ohm, pairing with wine. The meat melted in your mouth and the seasoning will bring out more layers of flavouring while paired with wine. This is definitely a unforgettable experience! Not to firget their beef tongue, pork shoulder, intercostal, chicken thigh and etc.
Definitely will back for more!
Their kimuchi are all made by them and not those commercial type that you found in usual restaurants. Try out their kimuchi moriawase, three types of diff vege and crunchy, surely makes you lokong forward for their next dish.
Yes they are Yakiniku restaurant, but their passion through out the food they served, you can find out some simple dishes from their menu, but they taste extraordinary. For example, fried food, fried rice, ramen, these are the dishes that makes me come back for more.

โ โ โ โ โ Itโs a mix Japanese and Korean resto with charcoal grill (self service) in Tanjung Tokong. Good quality meat such a melting in the mouth A5 Japanese Wagyu, premium short ribs and Spanish Ibรฉrico Pork. Tasty garlic fried rice, seaweed salad with nice sauce and mix pickles. Cozy ambience with private section tatami or normal seating at the front. Many choices of drinks especially soju and sake. Helpful, informative and friendly staffs. Worth for the price as itโs all quality meats. Very recommended!

Quality meats, quality sides, Tankoya Yakiniku should be your next spot for a meal. The Japan Black Pork Neck (RM39), in particular, is a must have.
They might also have the crispiest scallion-like pancake (chichimi, RM18) I've ever had, you can't leave without ordering it. Grab a beer, grill some meat, and be happy.

โ โ โ โ โ High quality Japanese food at cheap prices! Portions are big and generous. Tastes are amazing! Kimchi and sauces are all homemade with authentic ingredients and are full of flavour. It was a wonderful experience!

โ โ โ โ โ The pork belly and beef was yummilicious! Can forego the chicken as it was not marinated as well as the other meats. The sauce goes so well with the grilled meats.
One suggestion is perhaps improve on the attentiveness of the wait staff. Other that that, we had a nice evening meal out- thank you.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the best BBQ with nice fusion of Japanese and Korean style. Love their crispy pan cake and the BBQ definitely taste good. The pork neck is their specialty, the chicken is juicy too. However the lamb that I have is not tender.
