โ โ โ โ โ Hong Kong style roast pork (siew yok) and char siew ! Melt in the mouth ones too. Do call for reservations else you might be turned down with no seating.

โ โ โ โ โ Consider the best char siu in town..it melts in your mouth.. lala is seasonal .. ordered sir fry with basil and cook to perfection. Will recommend this restaurant for general dining as menu has limited selection. overall its good for standard meal.. price is reasonable commensurate to the quality and portion.. Will give 5 star if have better ambience and services.

โ โ โ โ โ The dishes served in the restaurant were all pretty on par. The portion was just right for the price. Must try the Char Siew with fair bit of fat which melted in mouth nicely. The tofu dish was another must-order item in the menu. We did not get to try the siew yok as it is a dish which is only served during Fridays to Sundays. Do note that they have a branch situated at the Starling Mall PJ. The draught beer was not really wow, but price was ok.

โ โ โ โ โ A hidden jewel in Ipoh. Came to Ipoh many times this is one of the good food in Ipoh can offer. Price point is decent.
Food offers is at the top of the quality. Seafood and fish are fresh. Food offer is complex and something new. Which is not offer in typical local Chinese restaurant.
Quality food offers, attentive staff, clean and hygeine environentn, a 5/5 stars

โ โ โ โ โ Been to this place many times and yet still surprised by it's wat tan hor (wonder why we never order it previously), it's probably one of the best I ever had. Certainly, the char siew is the best, while steam egg that's to perfection. The Tatler Dining title is certainly well deserved.

Love the live seafood and fresh veggies to pick from ;-)
Roast pork and char Siu were the highlights with the super fresh and sweet crabs coming in close second lmao
Definitely be back next in Ipoh. What a great hidden gem !!
Must book to get a table !! Saw a few folks get turned away due to lack of a reservation :-(

If you are looking for a restaurant with great food to dine comfortably, this is the spot.
Reasonably priced and many dishes to choose from! Would recommend.

โ โ โ โ โ Really colonial vibes serving Cantonese cuisine at its best. The "wipe floor char-siu" is a must try. The place is normally quite busy so it's best to make a reservation before going. It's a very bustling place at night for the beer crowd flood the place after dinner hours.
