Long time did not get to sit down and enjoy their wonton mee. We ordered a large dry wonton mee (RM8, double noodle, 5 wontons, char siu, choy sam and slices of Chinese mushroom), a small dry wonton mee (RM6, single noodle, 3 wontons, char siu, choy sam and slices of Chinese mushroom), and a bowl of wontons in soup. Too much food! The large wonton mee was very filling. My wife Sel could not finish her small noodles and passed some to me. After a mighty struggle, finished the noodles but left one wonton and a slice of mushroom in the soup bowl..

A popular family-run kopitiam in Pulau Tikus that specialises in delicious wan tan mee with its special gravy or "lor". The wall menu only offers the mee in 3 different sizes but you can state your preference, whether it's dry mee or soup & add or subtract ingredients to your liking. Friendly service. With the current MCO lockdown, customers can also make phone orders & pick them up later.

Try to charge extra on me when I brought my families and friends there, when I confronted the lady boss about this, she acted like it's not the first time doing this, the price different by RM10+ how can a person who counts daily would make such a mistake, won't visit for the second time. Advice to whoever takes tourists or big group of people to this place, please count properly before you left.

This is one of my favourite wan Tan mee stall on the island. An absolute must have everytime I'm in penang. Used to occupy a stall at the coffee shop next door. Glad they have expanded to their own shop now with longer operation hours too. Been frequenting them since young and taste wise it has been consistent throughout the years. Not your typical wan Tan mee as it is served with loh gravy (similar to starchy egg gravy). Typically served with wantan ( can ask for deep fried version if you prefer it crunchy), mushroom, char siu slices and pork lard. When all of these combo its mixed together, it taste heavenly. Pair it with their sambal belacan for maximum satisfaction. Picked green chilli is available too. There is also an option for hor fun instead of wan Tan noodles. At RM6 per bowl ( small size) portion is decent.

Located directly opposite the Pulau Tikus police station. Try their dry wan tan noodles. The best I've had in Penang for >15 years.

Good place for wantan mee. However, it is hard to get parking around this place. The service is fast. If you need to use the toilet, you need to go to the shop beside.

Sorry with the photo as the food was purchased in the afternoon but only eaten at night. But i hv to write this review as it is the best wanton mee tasted in Penang so far for me. The flavour was nostalgic and exactly how i love it that reminds me of my hometown flavour. What new to me is the lor gravy that first time came across which paired so well with wanton mee. I finished every drop of it as it taste like shark fin soup to mee. The right texture and not over powering with seasoning. Love everything on the plate. The noddles texture was just how i love it even the green chilies prickle and the sambal chilies are so on point, full of old times memories. Credits to the service too, the foods was ready so fast given the shop was packed with customers. Attracted to it as i always passed by and realise the shop always full of eaters given only selling wanton mee. Must be a well known gem ? Updated photos on 2nd visit for dinning in.
