★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ive visited Yoshifuku @ Lvl 2 Menara Hap Seng on the 28th Dec. The food is fantastic, prepared by the chef who hails from Osaka. The Staff have been very friendly and hospitable. There is a small Japanese Garden and private dining rooms.
We had
Goats cheese, skewered chicken and steamed cod
Simmered Radish
Sashimi Moriawase
Kaki Konabe oyster soup
California Maki
Traditional Braised Fish head
Green tea cake and chocolate mousse
Grilled Steak
Highlights
The goats cheese looks and tastes like tofu at first until it starts to melt in your mouth.
The Simmered Radish broth soup has a complex taste in the red paste.
The Oyster Soup is very fresh and flavourful.
The Sashimi Moriawase is a must try. The ingredients have been imported from Japan, the prawn sashimi is incredibly fresh sweet and creamy.
The Green tea cake and chocolate mousse are freshly baked in house, an excellent dessert to end the dinner.

You really get a taste of Japan here, and im not talking about just japanese food but the taste that you will get if you eat in Japan.
We had the Unagi dinner set.
Each dish is curated so nicely, and the taste compliments the rest of the dishes so well. Unagi is done really flavourfully. Sashimi is so fresh it melts in your mouth, chawanmushi is so falvourful, and the green tea is also using tea leaves and tastes really good.
Even the desserts (Matcha ice cream) is using authentic japanese milk and its really creamy.
The staffs are also very attentive and even attends to you to refill tea, clear plates etc without you asking.
Bravo to the management, the chef & the staffs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the full course and enjoyed every dish prepared wonderfully by the Japanese chef Ogawa-san. There are also seasonal ingredients used in some dishes and everything was fresh. Loved the ambience and atmosphere here as well. Would highly recommend this place if you want a authentic Japanese cuisine experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sesame tofu was a surprise! Sashimi : superb! Ayu shioyaki (if nt mistaken) was a lil too salty, fried oyster ??? sushi took slight long to prepare but still taste good!

As the restaurant was quite hidden away, it was very quiet with only a few tables occupied. The table setting felt weird though as it was set far apart and felt just out of place.
Service:
The service was attentive provided you manage to catch hold of waiter/waitresses as they are mostly hiding behind.
Food:
The food was fresh and I can see the chef tried to put some attention to detail. However the steak was tough and chewy which is kind of a put off.
Price:
Pricey especially if you were to choose ala-carte items. Luckily we choose the omakase set that provides at least a few other selections to try.
Conclusion:
I am unlikely to return to the place again partly due to the setting and the food quality.
