★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We always go here for a haircut when visiting KL. This hair studio has been here for years and always provides reliable and friendly service. On my last visit, we had our hair cut by Vino. He was good with the hair cut and also fabulous at massaging and washing the hair. Very relaxing. The location is also convenient because it is located within a shopping mall with lots of food outlets.
We went back here in Jan 2020. Oh my gosh! The prices have gone up so much!! A men’s haircut by a junior stylist cost me RM60. For my 10 year old son, the haircut cost RM55 without a wash!! The store upstairs was only charging RM33 for kids with a RM10 CNY surcharge. This is only RM43 compared to RM55! Oh well...looks like I’ll be going to the saloon on the floor above in future...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place doesn’t even deserve a star. Went to perm my hair at the salon. Wanted to do a korean jelly digital perm but the stylist suggested to do a spiral perm instead and charged me RM600+ for it! But i gave them the benefit of the doubt and trusting my mum’s recommendation i went on with it. My hairstylist Madeline later on suggested to add on treatment that amounted up to RM850+! Are you crazy?!
Then she started off cutting layers which she absolutely BUTCHERED. There was so much layering going on at the top (which wasn’t even done evenly) and nothing at the bottom. Then it came to the actual perm where she chose really small rolls when i wanted big curls instead. She also divided my fringe into a million sections and proceeded to curl it in every different direction! By then I already knew my hair was going to look bad. True enough at the end result i looked NOTHING like what i asked for. Also the whole time sitting there all the chemical was leaking down my face and back and it was just an uncomfortable process. The assisting girl who shampooed my hair and did some of the perming was equally if not worse than Madeline herself. Both should seriously find a new career path.
I looked like a freshly groomed poodle by the end of it.
Funny, but not a good thing.
I was so upset and embarrassed to walk out of the shop into public.
I ran to the bathroom to cry because of how bad it was and i have never cried about my hair in my life as I’m pretty easygoing but this was utterly unacceptable.
My mother also did a perm and blowout but ended up walking out with a Karen hairdo. We both looked better going in than walking out.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK and i advice anyone to do the same and definitely don’t get the stylist i had. What a TRULY TERRIBLE experience and WASTE OF HARD EARNED MONEY. Had to get it fixed the next day immediately at another salon that did a remarkable job of salvaging whatever damage was made by Madeline.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious environment. You're served either coffee, tea or water of your choice. I had senior stylist cutting my hair. Did hair treatment too. But standby to spend $$$. Senior cut for ladies was RM150 (including wash and blow dry). My hair treatment for 15 minutes was RM300.
