★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude counter staff. Number was called but she wasn't at her station. When she came back, she just pressed the next number. Then blames the customer for not showing up when number was called. Answered rudely too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was told by ur staff at d counter that ur bank does not entertain retention FD rate, which i find it rather unusual. Had no choice but to remove my 3 FDs amounting to RM100k out.Will be also transfering out future FD which will be maturing later this year. Tq.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a terrible experience at Hong Leong Taipan. Only 1 of 3 ATM machines were actually in service. Customer service employee displayed major attitude problem. She seemed very irritated and didn’t bother giving proper feedback or answering our enquiries. She seemed to hint that she’s not interested in our patronage so I’m taking the hint and closing down my account soon. Will open a new account in a bank that is hopefully more competent.

We want to open a joint savings account.
But nobody was at the customer service counter so we waited for someone to come out. A young man with specs came out from the backroom holding some documents in hand overheard my conversation with my husband "maybe he is not the staff". He showed his staff tag and exclaimed "sorry, am i not the staff, am i not the staff?" We told him we want to open a joint account, he asked us go press a number then he walked out. Coming from the banking industry i find his approach by showing off the staff tag is being very rude. Unfortunately we did not get his name,if not we would make an official complaint. Anyway, you just lost 2 potential customers who want to open an account.
Fisrt impression of the approach is already out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ one of your chinese aunty that wears specs at the counter for customer service.. Her attitude is so lousy!!! Ridiculous what kind service and attitude give to customer.. Give her black face. DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Definitely not recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is specifically to Brandon from customer service from Hong Leong bank, not this branch. My credit card application was approved, and the bank was supposed to send this card to the USJ branch. Fast forward 2-3 weeks, no replies from the bank and suddenly I get a call from the Sungai Long branch that my card was ready to be retrieved. Obviously the card was delivered to the wrong place, and they told me they would pass me to customer service to get it fixed. Spoke to the first customer service staff, said he would help me get the card sent to the USJ branch and told me to wait for them to call. After 2 weeks, no word again from the bank. I called customer service again to ask, this time a lady served me and told me she would put in a request. Both these staff never called back. One fine day, I receive a text from Hong Leong saying my card reached the SUNGAI LONG branch again. Furious. Called customer service. AGAIN. This time, Brandon was on the phone. He told me he would check and call back again. Lo an behold, he really did call back. Told me my card reached the USJ branch. As a conclusion, I have finally gotten a hold on the geographic location of my card in Malaysia, and thank you again Brandon. Hong Leong, this guy deserves a raise for being one of the customer service staff WHO ACTUALLY FOLLOWS UP. 5 stars to Brandon from Customer service.
