★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have a very horrible experience with the host and booking.com. We chose to book with Hosta home because we saw them as superhost.
House review: the development is big but has no proper signs (examples: name, entrance ,exit...) so it’s a bit hard to navigate at first. We got 3 bedrooms apartments with 3 toilets total. The living room was fine,the rooms was clean but the toilets were super disappointing. Towels were all yellowish and old so we got to use our own towels. One toilet was stink and dampen. Another toilet had many small insects around the bidet. Moreover, all showers only came with rain shower without flexible shower heads so it’s not user- friendly.
Personal experience: Even though they claimed or qualified to be superhost but our experience was unpleasant. We booked the non-refundable category for 1 night stay in Dec. 8 hours after the booking we have some serious personal issue occured so we really wished to seek their good will to cancel the booking. I texted them immediately and we had the conversation. However, when they saw my request,they immediately ignored us. Regardless of my efforts to reach them through booking.com as a third party or direct contact, they just didn’t reply us. We were trying to reach them just to see whether they can do anything given our situation. They can simply reply us “Sorry we are unable to accommodate your request”. But we didn’t hear anything from them. They acted like they obviously didn’t know anything so i don’t know how superhost they are. That was really an unprofessional way to handle customers especially they are in this service line.
That was my personal experience cum the house experience. At the end we felt blessed because our cousin family couldn’t join us to stay at Hostahome because they wouldn’t have to experience the stinky toilet and dirty towel on a getaway trip!
