โ โ โ โ โ This is a typical kopitiam with a few food stalls. No air conditioning. More crowds during the afternoon lunch.
For the first time, I try their Mexican grilled chicken. I usually go to its rivalry that is located behind this premise.
Honestly, it's not as good. The taste is flat. The mushroom soup tasted very much like Campbell.
The beverages are more expensive.

โ โ โ โ โ Fried rice @RM7/s n Yong tau foo @ RM1.30/pc is always our preferred choice. Friendly stall owners. Indian stall is pretty good too. Beverage guys are always grumpy with sour face. The only downside at this place!

1) Fried Rice with fried egg @ RM9/L - standard maintained but price went up by RM1. No issue as the cost of everything is up. 2 pieces of mid sized prawns and a handful of beansprouts completes this dish simple yet deli fried rice.
2) YTF/2 fried spring roll/1fried tofu/1chili @ RM1.40/pc - as usual, pick your stuffs and the owner will deep fry them again to achieve the crisp. Piping hot and crispy when savoring. Did not stinge on the stuffing despite the price.
3) 2 x Chinese tea @ RM.80/each -

โ โ โ โ โ Came here for the Yong Tau Foo stall which had been operating for many years. They have many regular customers and their hand made "yong liu" are selling fast. We arrived at about 11am in a weekday and some of ingredients has been sold out. The fish paste they made are chewy and not too salty. Chilli and bean sauce are nice too.

โ โ โ โ โ Accessibility of this restaurant is rather tricky - it's on a narrow crossroad with limited parking. Yet it continues to thrive without modernisation and with a half a dozen of stall only. So i had to check it out during the long weekend - when i could find parking. It was drizzling too which helped. Tried the wan tan noodle - lots of gravy and meat but the noodle was too chewy ans had a flat dull taste. I returned for the fried rice and yong tau foo the next day, which everyone in the restaurant seemed to be having. Much better. Was told, both stalls have been around for the last 30-40 years. The yong tau fu chilli sauce was interesting - it had a slightly sour tinge to it which helped cut through the oil from the fried variety. But the rice had a little too much ajinonoto for me plus the standard portion was too small for the price paid. Interestingly, the bean sprouts were a nice touch.
