I tried to renew my passport thru online. All successfully submitted and received an email that my photo rejected due to not meet their criteria. I called Setia Tropika Immigresen and they advise me to walk in and can take photo at the Immigresen counter. Then today early morning went there and get my queue number. Then go to level 3, within 30 minutes I called up and assist by Officer K.Indira. She’s welcoming with greetings and very friendly. I done my entire passport renewal less than 2 hour. Really appreciate for the services

Bad : inefficient system for appointment and queue. Should practice appointment basis at different slots to prevent congestion & chaos. Quite long waiting time to get the number. Good : Counter - friendly, polite & efficient staff. Met Mdm Indira. Process of renewal was done with 15mins and collection within an hour. Good job. Thank you

Went at 9am, collected my passport at 8pm. Waited 11 hrs. The officers there prioritize those people of the same race as them, which was racist. They also don't have a proper system for passport collection at the last part. Some only waited 5 mins to collect, while several others like me waited 11+ hours. There were even some chinese elderly couple who was told to come back the next day.

17/06/2022 Reach at 6.10am, sit and wait (if you need to queue for numbers, sit accordingly in the camp, sit from the front to the back, as no one knows how to sit properly to make sure you can get in the queue fairly). Around 7.10am, officers will start giving out numbers to those who have issues during online submission. For those who have renewed successfully online, you don’t need to get number, but still need to give officer your successful payment receipt for them to write LULUS on your paper. I’m writing this mainly for people who are LULUS. Around a quarter to 8am, those LULUS can go and queue at the ground floor of main building to get another number, even though the officers might give you confused instructions to whether queue or not. Just don’t queue too early, I believe they wish to control crowd too. Once you reach this stage then the steps are pretty easy afterwards. Go to level 3 counter 11, and the rest are straight forward procedures. Even ask you whether do you want passport cover at RM5. Piece of advice: for those LULUS, maybe you don’t need to go that early like those virally stated online, as the office only opens at 8am and you don’t need a ticket at camp, you only need a ticket from ground floor office. Hopefully this renewal of passport trend can slow down and we all can be back to standard operating procedure soon.

08/06/2022 went this morning and found that there's no longer giving numbers early in the morning but at 7am only. many people still act like young children, do not know how to q and even cut q. after getting the number, actually need to be seated again until the officer calls our number then only we can go to the main building. (but many of them just ignore it) at the lobby, we will need to q according to our number and get the officer to check all our documents and give us a new number. then the officer will tell you where you should go and just follow the instructions. even though the queuing time is long but can see all the officers are trying their best to get all things done. MALAYSIANS please be more patience, follow the instruction and no need to be rude to the officer.

Send bf at 6.05am to renew passport The queue is already long. I just want to go in to give him a new mask. But the guard (soldier) had stopped me, ask my husband instead to come out and get it. He's already in the queue. How could he leave the line?
