★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality of their Siew Loong Pau is consistent and good. What we particularly liked was the lau Sar pau , salted egg custard bun … it’s creamy interior was spot on . Just be careful on the first bite as it’s creamy paste is quite hot and may spill out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still a good place to get a decent Chinese cuisine such as Dan Dan Mian and Suan La Tang (sour spicy soup). Nonetheless, the price has gone up alot, and drinks are so pricey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Xiao long bao is so small and tasteless. We order minced meat noodle and the taste is average. Dine in at Din Tang Fung one Utama. We do feedback to the captain on the food taste but they not willing accept feedback. Disappointed with the food taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good! but the Xiao Long Bao is a lil bit disappointed as the skin is kinda thick.
Truffle Fried Rice is a bomb! Recommended to atleast tried it once if you're a truffle lover!
Other than that, most dishes are fine!
Surprisingly the chocolate Xiao Long Bao is oddly delicious ?

We ordered
1. pork chop egg fried rice: the pork chop was cooked very well! It was a lean cut of pork but the meat was cooked to perfection, tender and succulent. The meat too absorbed the flavours of the marinade really well. The rice was also delicious. Has wok hei.
2. Sesame & peanut sauce noodles with pulled pork: this one is something new to me and not something I fully enjoy. I would probably have enjoyed it better for the spicy variant.
3. Spicy vegetable and pork wanton: the flavours of the wanton was good, while the vegetables within weren't overcooked either. The spicy sauce had a good flavour but wasn't spicy enough.
4. XLB: nothing much to say but it was good as usual!
5. Shrimp and pork siumai: my first time ordering this and to my surprise, their siumai has soup in it like the XLB. My next visits, I'd rather order the siumai than the XLB. Moments after my order of 6 pcs arrived, the chef brought out another 2 pcs and said it's compensation because they oversteamed 2 pcs on my initial 6 which resulted in some spillage of the soup. It's very admirable of them to do so when we didn't notice it nor would've made an issue out of it.
The staff in the restaurant were very warm and welcoming except I think they needed to speak a little louder.
4/5 stars for the food
5/5 stars for the service
4.5/5 stars overall but google doesn't allow a .5 so a full 5 star is due i suppose

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ pork xiao long bao was good as usual, din tai fung's xlb never disappoints.
ordered the hot and sour soup with noodles. it was flavourful and delicious. portion of noodles was just enough. soup was loaded with tofu, black fungus and pork. worth the price :)
they had these cute animal baos and i wanted to order the red bean piggy ones but they were out of stock so i got the chocolate panda instead. honestly, i wouldn't order it again. the skin of the bao was VERY hard and chewy. it was almost a struggle to swallow it. i'm guessing the baos didn't defrost enough before they steamed it / they didn't steam it enough. the chocolate tasted nice though as it tasted like premium chocolate and wasn't too sweet.
overall, 8/10 for the whole dinner. if the baos were served better, it would be perfect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since the pandemic, it’s been 2 years I didn’t come to 1U. And the first shop I visited was this Din Tai Fung.
Giving it a 1star rating because of the poor service given by a male staff.
We all know the ginger shreds served is always insufficient, when I asked another one, the staff acknowledged but didn’t serve.
I don’t think he forgot and it’s also not crowded as it’s before 11am.
Btw, the xiao long bao gravy is not hot enough and the skin is pretty hard at the top.
The spoon served was also stained with dirt.
I hope the Management sees this comment and to improve the overall services as compared to the Taipei branch which I had superb dining experience.

Food wise, XLB n dumpling was good. The pork chop is delicious too but the fried rice was bland.
Service standard not on par with other DTF outlets. Therefore minus 1star
