A slightly less-posh Robuchon-style pan European cuisine. Flavors reminiscent of Provence, with heavy emphasis on herbs, vegetables and oil (as oppose to butter and cream). Generally excellent ingredients (eggplants, heirloom tomatoes, scampi) though some with room for improvement (burrata flavor was intense but core way too solid... could be fresher). Consistent and detailed execution - both the lamb and paella did not disappoint in flavor, texture and richness. Delicate, fine bistro food but at fine dining prices.

Extremely disappointing service. Food was below average. Waited for order for 2 hours. Asked the staff to check however the go off and never came back with answers and kept us waiting longer. Reservations were made a month jn advance and updated the day before yet when we arrived they said we weren’t on reservation and ignored us until the guest who made the reservation came with the email and call proof. Only then they made us a space. The main manager did make up with a glass of champagne each after we got fed up waiting for our food for 2 hours plus. Sofitel is known for its awesome service around the world but this one needs intensive training on the fnb service industry.

Went there for our wedding Anniversary dinner. We were served my an attentive staff, Khairil. Food was delicious, ambience good and not crowded. Pizza crust was a little too thin otherwise nice. Recommended.

Our group of 11 had a disappointing dinner on Sunday Feb 6. The service was bad, with waiters who do not know the restaurant menu or much about service. When asked anything about the menu, you will get a blank look or at best, "Let me check". 3 of us ordered Smoked Sabah lobster with celeriac and 3 ordered Grilled Sabah lobster with linquine, but we received 4 and 2 of each. The celeriac was served separately coming more then 5 mins after the lobster. Good to have a headstart on the lobster as time was needed to CHEW the dried and tough lobster meat! They were not generous with the alcohol, Fire Bombe Alaska "Flambe" did not flambe and needed another shot of alcohol to give a weak 2 second flame. This "ungenerous" alcohol should have been no surprise as earlier we had experience insipid Aperol Spritz! What was good? The Vitello alla Milanese and the Ravioli were good, so were the complementary focaccia and tapenade. However, the bread sticks that came with the cheeseboard had its better days which was a shame as the selection of cheese was acceptable. Would we return for another meal...NO. Would we recommed NIZZA to others...NO.

The focaccia bread with basil dip was great. For starters we had a sun-dried tomato tart tartin and the smoked burrata cheese with tarragon consommΓ©. Those were nice too. The main course - sirloin steak & the seafood grill - so so . The young potatoes were awesome . Got VEB a complimentary smoked salmon taster . Not bad . Price was okay with our 50% discount voucher . The wine list acceptable . Will go back & try other items Oh the toilets outside the restaurant is not well-kept- stains and stench . As a 5-star hotel - they should do better

(04/06) Food was slow. Lamb came rare when we ordered medium well. Service was bad especially when they’ve charged us wrongly and ruined our birthday cake without even bothering to apologize. We were told that the staffs were new, but as a common courtesy one should at least ask before ruining the cake and all the wordings by removing the plastic of the cake. Staffs acted like nothing had happened. When asked to not remove the plastic, we were answered by β€œoh, we have removed it”. No sorry, no nothing. Extremely disappointing. Extra training on common courtesy should be provided for those on the floor that night. The service killed it all. HORRIBLE.

Absolutely in loveee with their focaccia. Crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. Very aromatic and full of flavour. Comes with a pesto dip which is so so good. Their pastas are pretty good too. Pizza is average to me but otherwise I would definitely come back for everything else.
