β β β β β Overall, the place is nice, my unit is facing the newly built Southlink residences overseeing the facilities deck and the view is great.
However, please be very weary that the soundproofing is not good at all, at least for my unit. You can hear every footsteps and vibrations from your upstairs neighbor. Sometimes, you can even slightly recognize what they are saying when lying in bed. I would suggest if you value serenity and peace of mind, South View is not for you.

- The traffic jam is awful, during peak hours literally stuck from every directions

β β β β β This is a very strategic location. It's located near my workplace, grocery store, restaurants and LRT station. All are within walking distance. There is a new fancy small mart (2 floors though) in this serviced apartment and I am surprised with the items sold here (so much options) For me, the building is also quite well maintained although it is not as new as South Link. The unit that I stay is quiet and the corridor is very clean. I stay at high floor and hence it's very cooling under ceiling fans especially at night (I need no turning on air-con to sleep). I have no issue in waiting for lift everyday too as here has 4 lifts for low floors and another 4 lifts for high floors.
Downsides- Ventilation is not as good (even if there is kitchen hood) especially when cooking happens. I suggest to do water-based cooking or light cooking only. Also, do consider food delivery or subscribe weekly or monthly home-cook meal delivery program so that you can save money and you don't have to think so much.

β β β β β Very bad management!!! not funny at all! Who charge resident for 200RM for taking parcel late??? i was back to my hometown for 2 weeks and i have to pay the penalty.. even they never post this thing inside the lift. not a fair way to earn money.
