β β β β β There wasn't any issues prior to this but lately the food is taking too long too come out to the point where I have cancelled my orders the last 2 times I was here. The manager told us that food would take 30-45mins to come out which is okay, I do not mind waiting however I find it a bit ridiculous that the main courses can come out quicker than handrolls and sushi. I waited for an hour today for my tamago and salmon mentai to be ''coming out soon'' that is after all the main dishes has already come out, sorry but I will not be waiting for an hour for just sushi alone. I understand that they are short staffed so I hope that gets resolved quickly. No complaints about the food, its still great for the price I'm paying.

β β β β β It's always a pleasant dining experience at Sushi Zanmai Citta Mall. The only thing is that they give you a QR code to scan and place order on your phone. The ordering system has improved and not as onerous as previously. Food portions are in line with price and food is tasty and fresh. For green tea, it is refillable and the waiter provided us with a jug to self refill

β β β β β I'm a long time fan of Sushi Zanmai in general.
Today I ordered an Oyako Don for take away. Upon eating at home, the whole bowl of food was so SALTY it felt like I was ingesting salt with rice. I had to throw it away because I couldn't finish it. It was totally inedible. I couldn't complain as I'm not eating directly in the outlet. Unfortunately, the quality is really unacceptable...
EDIT: Sushi Zanmai called me back to give me a new one the next day after my complaint. Kudos to them for taking complaints seriously. The next meal tasted normal. Thank you and +3stars

β β β β β Reasonable japanese food as usual. This is within the Citta Mall. Not a big one, seats could be limited. Not sure if I remember correctly, but the prices used to be lower. Reasonable price hike is understandable and unavoidable but hope that things will be under control and managed. This one looks like need more staffs also.

β β β β β Dine-in order placed @ 2105hr, waiter approached asking if I would like any last order @2121hr where none of the order items except drink, has been served. Another 5 minutes passed, I asked for my appetizer to be served first. Instead, dessert (specified to be served after meal) was presented. Dessert was returned to chiller for later consumption. Proper care was lacking as a layer of frozen thin ice was found later.
The whole dining experience is extremely unpleasant. All servers were so focused on closing procedures and yet made lots of noise, clearing crockery, cultery, dragging chairs instead of lifting them.

β β β β β My go-to place for delicious, fresh and yummy sushi and sashimi. I also love the chawanmushi. Service is good and staff is helpful as and when you needed attention. Whether dining alone or with family, this is a good place to be. My favourite is the salmon zanmai, moriwase sushi/sashimi, salad, well, practically most of the menu! My nephews love it Karagae Don and the udon. My sister in law always goes for its Nabe meal. Safe to say, the menu is good for everyone's unique pallete. Will always go here.
